Irregular periods 6 months after birth?

LO is 6 1/2 months, I've had 2 periods since having her, both as they were previously and the second arrived exactly when expected. The third was due on Friday, but still nothing! Is this common? I know it can take a while for things to settle, especially as I'm breast feeding but I thought after the 2 normal ones I was back on track??x

I FF but I'm going through the exact same thing. LO is 5 1/2 months old and I've only had 2 periods.

Gave birth on 29/04 - had 1 period in June and 1 in August...now waiting for the next one to show up! It's rather alarming really...I actually had to POAS the other day as I was convinced I was pregnant!!

I'm breast feeding and I had my first period when he was 7 months, skipped my next one then had another one exactly 8 weeks after my first one!

If your still breast feeding then I don't think you can expect regular cycles and even when you stop breastfeeding it can take a number of months for your cycle to regulate (depending on the person)

I have a period every month but theyre light and last about 3 weeks now
