internal exam?

I'm 40 weeks today (whoop whoop!) and just wondering whether my midwife will start doing internal examinations today or is it just the normal checks? At 38 weeks baby wasn't engaged so hoping he is today!

They may do a stretch and sweep at your appt but i think thats the only time they go internal till it comes to induction. they may also book your induction at your appt for usually 10-14days overdue x

Thanks Becks. How are you feeling now? I'm much happier now I've got over my cold. Just hope baby doesn't keep me waiting too long.

Im good just getting annoyed that all these pains are leading to nothing! Still got tonight for him to come before i have to argue with the consultant lol. Hope your little one is engaged! x

Just back from midwife - everything good but baby still not engaged!!! Sweep booked for 41 weeks - hopefully something happens before then!

Aww shame about baby not being engaged but it could happen in labour hopefully ull have had baby by 41weeks x
