Insomnia thread! Yay

Eugh, wide awake for the last hour and feeling sickly Debating cereal and Cartoon Network if I can't drift back off. The BF is due in from work shortly x

Oh purple, nothing can't be solved by Cartoon Network! Haha. I was tossing and turning so much last night but I'm not actually feeling that bad....yet. I've had a cup of tea and I feel okay minor headache but it'll go soon enough hope you managed to get some sleep in the end xx

By far the worst and weirdest nights sleep, I kept dreaming and waking up thinking my waters had broken and then around 4am thought the baby was crying (he's not here yet) and picking up the teddy in the Moses basket it was really weird. I'll be dozing today I think xxx

For me at the moment it is the constant need to pee. Feels like every 5 mins.

Couldn't sleep until around 2:30ish and woke up at 4am!!

I was up in the night again drinking lemonade and eating ice pops at 2.30am I never sleep through tho...I seem to typically go into a deeper sleep after 3am then my daughter wakes me up at 5.30-6!

I'm up, it's 3.03 am and im as usual now yet to go to sleep! Rocking baby Griffin in the pram in the lounge , hoping to get 3 hrs straight sleep onthe couch or at least until 530 am when my other little boys wake up!

That's tough going JJ! I'm awake now cos I dreamt I was having BH - I've had no such thing and don't even know what to expect. Scoffing crunchy nut cornflakes in bed x

I'm awake at 6:40am an improvement!! But I'm still wrecked tossed and turned most of the night xxx

Sleep is over rated anyway! Was checking in to see if we had anymore random labours starting x

Possibly me if these pains keep up, midwives say it's okay and nothing to worry about but I've just got a feeling it's the weekend when we've planned a day out haha xxx

Does anyone else at this point just keep getting nightmares? 5-6 in a row, every night, awful! In-between that, numb hips/legs and needing a wee, it's pointless me trying to sleep x

Yes purple me all last night I had awful nightmares! it's horrible isn't it? V disturbed sleep and not feeling great tbh xxx

I went to bed at 9 tonight as I was exhausted having done house work and a lot of shopping, hubby is fast asleep still he normally gets up to let our dogs out as I can't sleep once woken up....I am now wide awake, he could do with sleeping properly tbh and I've got horrific heartburn again so I highly doubt I'll be asleep anytime soon. Xxx

Try and prop yourself up to sleep if you have heartburn. I've had a couple of hours and just let the dogs out as the BF is working nights. 2 more days of work for me then finally finish on maternity leave so I can nap during the day, always tired x

Thanks purple I managed to get some shut eye eventually I'll remember to prop myself up next time xxx

If you've got some yellow pages or old books prop the bed up at the top as well, that's helped me a bit. I slept through for the first time in weeks, not even the cat came and gave me a midnight cuddle. Purple bet you can't wait to finish I've been done since Tuesday has been lovely! Especially the day time naps x

Wide awake since 1 am with heartburn and acid reflux, tried gaviscon and rennies did nothing! Now trying milk and will go onto ice cubes next but I doubt it'll work. Fed up and want baby here now I just want one night sleep just one before he's born. Xxx
