Inflamed lining of uterus?

Hey.
I went for my scan on Monday to make sure i had passed everything after my medical management and they said there were no remains of the pregnancy left in there but the lining of my uterus was inflamed and my uterus was still full of thick blood? The sonographer said that i may pass the blood or it may be absorbed. When seeing the doctor after the scan he never mentioned it so i mentioned it to him and he didn't seem worried. Has anyone else had this?

Hi Amy,

When I went for my scan after my mc, I was told there was no pregnancy tissue left. She mentioned that my uterus lining was quite thick (10.6mm) but she thought this would be passed either with the post mc bleeding or as part of my next AF. No one suggested it was inflamed, just a little thick. They just told me at the hospital post mc bleeding should be no heavier than a normal period (which it wasn't ) and it stopped eight days after I passed the pregnancy. BTW, I had a natural mc, don't know if that makes a difference? x x
