a wrote about tis earlier abot me thinking have an infection would be ok leave til tommorow am in agony a cant even pee cos too scared a feel as if someone has tortured me down below with razor please help what can a do am gonna be going to bed shortly u know what its like during the nite for a pee thats how scared i am about it cos so sore

OMG I dont know what to suggest. Normally I would say drink LOADS of water to dilute your urine so it will not sting but that would be a nightmare in pregnancy. Is the pain in your actual bladder on when coming out your urethra?

only when comes out touches me vagina but so sore stingy feels worse than after had me son got midwife morning but can this harm ur baby am paranoid x

In my experience (& i've had a fair bit!) the more water you drink the better, i know it sounds mad because you're increasing the need to pee, but it's far better to pee something than nothing/a trickle. Stick to water though avoid anything else (squash, juice, etc) if it's that bad, get to the 24hr chemist to buy some cystitis relief sachets, check first, but I'm pretty sure they're safe in pregnancy.

Oh i feel for you though, I hope it clears up soon! x

I would normally go down the dilute pee route but expect to have a night of feeing lots (which is probably the last thing you want to do when it hurts). If I was you I would slap loads of sudocrem or canesten if you have it down there and a pair of cotton knickers. Of course you can dilute your pee by pouring water from a jug over your bits the same time as you pee and this will keep the sting away....

u need to get to docs or hospital, sounds like u have a water infection which is what i had and they gave me antibiotics as they said it can cause labour if not treated

That sounds terrible!!

Hope you got it sorted! If not, try pouring a jug of luke warm water onto you/down the toilet when you pee.

A went to me scan and midwife app yest all went well a was feeling lots better down below so doctor came said she rush me urine sample through for Friday she gonna fone me if have infection and I have go doctor get antibiotics she said she could give me them there then but fact am feeling well in meself and no other problems she will leave it till results come back x

my trouble is i never have symptomsof a water infections it just so happened baby had stopped moving that they did a test to discover mine was wuite bad.

why didnt they test there and then as all midwives and doctors carry the dipsticks with them?
