Inductions advice

Can u request to be induced on ur die date if u have spd? I am only 24 weeks and I am struggling already I know by 40 weeks I am gonna be immobile! But dunno if they see this as a reason for induction?!

Think there have been a few ladies on here that got induced with SPD around 38 weeks but not all so it probably depends on how bad you are and maybe the policies where you live. Have a chat with your midwife at your 28 week check to see what she thinks.

My friend asked she had spd and had her baby 4 weeks ago. she still cant walk properly 4 weeks on from the birth. she had acupuncture, bump support crutches the lot. They would only induce her 5 days after her due date, not the usual 12 days. She had a midwife appointment at 38 weeks which she was told she couldnt have her sweep until her due date etc. But a really nice midwife gave her sweep at 39 weeks +5 and she had her at 40weeks +1. x xx
