My head is such a mess at the mo and i dont know wot to do. By hospital dates i am 40 + 8 today but by my dates i am 39 + 1. MW has been and done 2 sweeps, both with thick cervix and efface. No show or loss after either sweep. She said today that i do not have the "feel" of someone "Post mature" (overdue)
Consultant would not budge on the dates even though i know i did not concieve until 1st Feb at the earliest and booked me in for an induction monday kinda taking it out of my hands.
MW has said that if im not overdue then induction will be unlikely to work first time and that i have the option of being monitored by the hospital every other day but has also made me aware of wot could happen if i go too far overdue.
So here i am sat with this horrible decision and not knowing which way to turn. Mr A has said he will go with my decision and agrees that baby should have the chance to come naturally at our agreed date but he also does not want to harm the baby.
