Chances are you won't go until your 40 weeks plus so don't get your hopes up! Try and be patient cos it will do your head in if you start to try and get it out this soon. You could potentially have 5 weeks left at the most. Not saying this to dishearten you, just don't want you being like me who is sooo fed up now as I expected to go earlier than this! Easier said than done, I know but try and enjoy the last few weeks and don't put yourself under pressure with all the induction methods that don't seem to work anyway x

i know i cud still have potentially 5weeks left am not disheartened tbh just wanted to try them to see if any did work tbh even tho i know bubz will come when he is ready

spicy food (i tried food so spicy my lips swelled up), walking, ball bouncing, pineapple - although you need a lot, EPO, floor scrubbing, erm......not sure what else.....
xxxxx

I've tried them all, and they don't work, lol!! As the others say, don't set your heart on having it on the due date.

Saying that, you'll now probably beat us all!!

its just nice to feel like you;re taking control back again lol! didnt work for me but nvm..... xx i enjoyed trying! x

yeh am not setting my heart on any of it working just figured worth a try summat to pass the time anyway lol.
Tbh am expecting to go overdue now like my back ache has calmed down ect everything any signs i did have so i guess am in it for the long haul lol

Evening primrose oil, loads of sex, raspberry leaf tea,
I don't really know anything else :/

I tried loads with my daughter & nothing worked apart from being in early labour for 4days straight. I've heard of horror stories of upset tummies in labour from those that try eating lots of curries & pineapple, so I personally wouldnt do that either! I posted a thread a couple of days ago titled "inducing labour" which had a link to a page with all sorts, some very well-known & others I'd never heard of, it also talked about the chances of each one working. x

Well, I didn't necessarily TRY to induce by doing this, but both my labors started after LOTS of walking. With my first, I had worked a 12 hour shift (including a 1/2 hour power walk on my lunch break) - my water broke at work slightly sometime during that day and I didn't know what it was - then more when I walked in the door after work. I was 36w5d.

With my 2nd I was 39 weeks and literally the night before I walked around outside with my 2.5 year old for about an hour and a half. I was so sore, but he was having fun so I kept going...water broke during the night!

In both those instances it was MUCH more walking than I'd been used to at the time, so I have to think it *might* have had something to do with it!

(And I WILL definitely try that trick again with this little babe if need be!)

that sounds promising :)
thank you so much
