I am gonna book this for a family day - anyone ever been? did your wee ones like it?

Jackson is obsessed with ITNG - he has like everything x2 so hoping the live show will be good. The trailer looks good, just wondering if anyone has actually been?

xxxx

My cousin went with her 2yo and 1yo, apparently it was fantastic!

Oh good, Ive been looking at the premium seats because "Jackson" (ie me) wants to sit at the front!

Its in a big outdoor blow up dome, I think itll be good lighting and sound. We will see.

Its in Glasgow between Aug-September if anyone else is interested.

I went earlier this month and it was amazing! Lucie loved it. We got on the front row but any seat is good as it's so small. It was for her bday and cost a fortune lol as we got the goody bag and paid to meet iggle piggle afterwards as she met upsey Daisy at Alton towers and loved it. You don't actually get allocated a seat but premium tickets mean you are in the first 2/3 rows so get there early to queue if you want to be on the front. The showdome was amazing and Lucie who had just turned 2 shouted from the car - it's Makka pakkas house! It was so cute.

My friend went last year (with her lo, obviously lol) and said it was brill and the kids were memorised by it. My lo watches it sometimes but isn't in to it that much (it's peppa he loves). But I was still thinking of getting tickets cos I think he'd enjoy it and it's a lovely sensory thing for them too. I'm in glasgow too so you never know I might see you there x

OMG! Im so excited now, I will pay to meet the gang myself! Im not sure how Jackson will be, he was scared of Santa last xmas so, he may run in terror.

I thought it be a good sensory play. Jackson loves Peppa aswell, he always says "well done george" people probably think thats his name

Perhaps. I think we will need to go a Saturday, make a day of it. I work Mon-Fri.

Hi, I went last year with my daughter as a 3rd birthday surprise and was dreading it because I HATE in the night garden! I won't give away any spoilers but it was amazing! Really impressive special effects and my daughter was mesmerised! Well worth the money xx

Wow, that's embarrassing - just saw how old this thread was :dohh:

Lol I forgot I posted this.

We went, he loved it although now looking at Thomas Land in the summer. Its all about Thomas and engines these days

In saying that, he wanted in the night garden pasta shapes with dinner tonight - then didnt eat them

xxxx

Ohhh RM see if u have 'day out with Thomas' near you anywhere!? They do it in certain railways around the UK!

Thomas Land in drayton manor is good though mind! X

Yeah we have one at Bo'ness Scotland, which I think is about 30 mins in the train or so - which he would love to sit on the train on the way there anyway :p

Its a Day out with Thomas this one. Dunno the difference between Thomas Land or the Day with Thomas - is the Drayton Manor more of a theme park?

xxxx

Aw yeah thomas lan is inside the drayton manor theme park, but of a mission drive for u mind!!!
They have a few thomas rides and stuff there.

But the day out with thomas is probs better for ur money. Noah loves thomas and trains too!
We took him to see santa on a a mountain railway for xmas, he couldnt gove 2 hoots about santa lmao! He wanted to just stay on the steam train lol!! X

Well even the scotrail trans are named after the engines of tidmouth sheds  I had him waiting on the platform the other day waiting to go to his grans and a train passed on the other side - that was him in tears COME BACK SPENCERRRR! SPENCERRRR!!!

Yeah Probably is a bit far, esp since Ill be a whale by then. The Bo'ness Station is like a museum type thing with the actual thomas and percy trains but I dunno if they move or just for show

Orrrrrr, I could go on the Jackobite at Edinburgh which is the huge steam engine which is used for the Hogwarts Express. Not that he likes Harry, thats just for me!

Haha SPENCER!! Ahahahaaa!

If its what they advertise as nick jr then u should be able to ride on Thomas!
The fat controller is there too and u read stories and do face paints etc while on the trains. Spose to be a good day out!
We have 2 stations about 30 mins away that do it on selected dates in the year.
Thinking of leaving it till Nov time as Aug is to soon after his birthday and i wanna take him to Longleat for that lol! Need to give time for my money pot to re fill before booking more attractions lol!

Well if Nick Jnr says it itll be in the contract somewhere :p  Well seen youv been tuning into the kids telly whilst preggers.

Yeah every train has a name, the other week it was Mavis. He calls all his trains by names then hell say, we are going to the Quarry. Obsessed.

I must get more Thomas books to be fair because Ive read them all to death. And he doesnt like his daddy doing it I always do the bit from Mrs Doubtfire and say cause "you always skip parts, you smell funny and you never do the voices"

I need to buy loads of baby stuff in from now until dooms day so thinking sometime in the summer. Plus as hes a January baby, we cant do much then.

Have you noticed theres a Fat controller, a Thin controller and in the books hes called Sir Tophamm Hatt. What a way to confuse the kids.

I no!!!

My step dad hates how thomas is now CGI and not the gd ol fashioned Thomas lol.
He cant get his head around the new bob the builder either lol. Mind u! I was like WHO THE FRICK is that! When i first aeen him!

Noahs into literally everything!
Paw patrol is a big one atm, aswell as fireman sam, postman pat n the sodding twirlywoos lol! I spose it helps so I dnt have to be constantly watching peppa sodding pig lol!
But theres only so many episodes on demand. Ive seen them all WAY to many times lol! x

Yeah I just record them all and now have a series link for thomas on milk shake at like 7.30 lol its ridiculous.

Someone the other day in work says oh that sounds like thomas n i sayd no it doesnt? And sung the thomas song and she went oh... Im talking about the old one

I out on disney for jackson and he looks at me as if its black and white telly. Snow white was on the other day and he never even watched it. I was glued to the stuff on like boomerang, looney tunes etc.

Ive started getting him into sesame street. I love that but even thats diff.

Remember bear in the big blue house? I got 100 percent on guessing the words to the theme tune, OH slags me I was all chuffed like I knew there would come a day that me knowing that would come useful

xxxx

Haha i used to love bear in the big blue house lol!!
We used to watch stuf flike cow and chicken, johnny bravo, hey arnold and all the good cbbc programes! I LOVED the tweenies when i was younger lol! Hes just not fussed at all lol!

He liked mickey mouse for a while but has gone off that now. Im trying to plan his 3rd birthday cake but I know hell change his bloody mind on what hes into next lol xx

Aw yeah I loved that too, and ed edd n eddy. My dad even watched that and cow and chicken. But everything is so commercialised we didnt get every programme come out as toys mainly teddies. Now u get every cartoon playdoh set etc and now that disney etc is in asda now its bigger. He loves minions too. Hes got an easel, desk, tent, and big n small toys, plates, cups.. Theres fuckin minions even in poundland now. No gettin away.

Maybe get like a theme like jungle, space or something.. Jacksons cakes go to waste so we just had a catepillar one and its the most hes ate out them all.
