Implantation or Breakthrough bleeding?

Hi all

I am very confused about some bleeding I have had this week

It is completely out of sync with my normal timing, as I am on week 2 of a 3 week pack of Yasmin
It started on Sunday night and went through to Tuesday, was a dark brown in colour and quite often was just mixed in with normal discharge

There wasn't enough to wear a pad or tampon

The bleeding was accompanied by cramps for the 3 days

I have a heightened sense of smell, and occasionally sore nipples but nothing else

What is this?

Also, I have been running packs of Yasmin together since November without a break..

I took a test yesterday and it was negative, but I have been told it is too soon to tell?

I did't actually know what Yasmin was, but a quick google and spotting/breakthrough bleeding is a common side effect.

The advice is that it shouldn't happen every cycle and if it becomes persistant to check with your GP.

Mostly all herbal and vitamins have side affects and one of the side affectcs of that is slight bleeding.

Never know though maybe its implantation if you've conceived. x
