I have just got the date for my first scan and it's not until the 24th November. I'll be 13 weeks then. I'm so excited about this first scan and feel disappointed that i have to wait another 3 weeks. Despite the constant sickness and sleepiness i still want someone to tell me that there is something going on in there! Also, i know that at the first scan they'll be able to see how many babies are in there! There are twins in my family and i am a bit nervous.... just one would be fine for now

How will i survive the next 3 weeks?

I know what you mean - my scan is at 12+6 (might aswell be 13). It's killing to wait that long but just think - I've got 6 weeks to wait so I'm looking forward to your scan because I've only got another 3weeks to wait after that.

Am keeping myself busy doing Xmas shopping to pass the time! Any excuse to spend money!!!

I know how you feel, After we switched from private to public care the scan date is farther away but we booked a private scan in a centre for fetal medicine in Dublin with some of the money we saved in consultants fees... so we will have a scan at 11 weeks 2 days... which is in 2 weeks time!

I REALLY want to know what's going on in there!
