I'm so sorry to hear that! I don't know what I'd do if we lost Gus & Nelson and we've only had them 2 years! I'm glad he's no longer in pain, though.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry. We had our family dog put to sleep when I was 18-he was really old and in a lot of pain. I cried for weeks but it was kinder than watching him suffer. Our next doggie was the same and we were due to take him to vets the next day as we couldnt bear to see him suffer....mum found him dead the next morning curled up in his basket, he had passed in the night. I still miss them both like mad, me and OH have our ownn doggie now, she is only 2 but I couldnt bear anything happening to her She is our world and Ruby nd her will be such good pals when Rubes is older xxxx
