i got my 28 day bloods back and they came back normal so i ovulated apprently, is this guranteed with the blood test? as i get hardly any ewcm anymore so really didnt think i was. but if i am why arent i pregnant!! its been 9 months now , took me a year to fall each time before (but m/cs) could there be something else wrong? could i have a blocked tube from pid does that make u ov irregulay? hopeing someone knows more than me i can feel myself majorly stressing out again i doubt my gp will give me anymore help nowx

If the blood test says you're progesterone levels are high enough to show ovulation then yes you can relax on that front, there are many other things though that can cause fertility issues. I've been trying for 3 years and ovulate regularly but still haven't had my BFP. You can ovulate and not get EWCM, I do but this is down to another health issue for me.
Other issues can be blocked tubes, cervical mucus (which I think is my problem) problems in that it's not fertile for the sperm to survive, sperm issues amongst others.
Have you had CD3 bloods done to check those hormone levels are ok?

Her I feel your pain!! Trust me!

I had PID, lost left ovary and tube a year ago this week. I was offered an HSG for my other tube as my tummy was such a mess from the infection they thought my other tube could have been damaged too, thank god it wasn't. I'm sure if they had reason to believe yours was blocked they would have offered you the test. Maybe worth enquiring though? I've not had even a hint of a line or anything. I think it's just a waiting game with me at the moment, need my body to kick start again as it had such a knock when I was ill. I hate waiting though! xx

If it's just an ewcm issue then could pre seed or conceive+ help?

Hiya, as far as I am aware you would still ovulate normally even with a blocked tube but I could be wrong but it doesn't mean your tubes are blocked, I was worried about this too as it took us over a year to conceive with one of our pregnancies but HSG showed they were clear. I don't know much about PID so I don't know what kinds of things it can cause so I am no help there I'm afraid.
In regards to EWCM, you can still ovulate without it, on the month of one of my bfps, I didn't even notice much ewcm at all but still happened. You could try a few things to increase it, high dose evening primrose oil from AF to ovulation. Grapefruit juice-a glass a day from 7-10 days before you expect ovulation (its an acquired taste though ) or conceive plus/preseed/zestica are the fertility friendly lubes.

It is rare for the doctors to investigate before a year, apart from if over 35 so I am sure once you hit the 1 year mark, they will offer you help and one of the first routes the fertility clinic goes is a HSG. I know its horrible waiting but it could happen before then, loads of luck xx

thank you everyone! what are cd3 bloods? i havent had them but had alot of hormone tests done and all normal i would like a laproscopy (bad spelling) so will ask my gp about that, as wotried about infections in there, i have tryed concieve plus but didnt work :( i used to have loads of ewcm, i do take beta blockers and have noticed im dryer down there and also my eyes etc i saw online they can cause that so will ask that too. bethyboo im really sorry that happend to you how horrible , do you know why you got the pid? its the most awful pain isnt it makes you so ill. im convinced thats why i had a missed misscarriage this year as i was crying in pain and up a&e when i was 4 wks preg!

thanks lisey i will try epo, and that gives me some hope if you concieved without any ewcm so thx, i will be at one year in january so not long now :( but would be lovely to get a xmas bfp not got hopes up though.
thx i hope i dont offend anyone as i know some people have been trying for years and i know i have fell preg twice but seem taking a year each time is very frustrating and worryin xxxxx

lisey jus saw it took you a year too with 1 of your pregnancys so hard if your having mcs aswell xxx

Yes, it took us a long time with the last one, my OH had a sperm issue though and vitamins have fixed that so I am hoping things will happen quicker next time.
I just had a laparoscopy to remove endometriosis, I am sure only gynaecology and fertility can arrange them so best to ask your doctor for a referral if that's something that might help. Once you have been trying a year the investigations would include a lap from my understanding xx
