I'm going to be a March Mummy!

So after 3 days of Norovirus, followed by 2 days of increased fetal movement we had a day of reduced fetal movement and we assessed by the antenatal ward at 2am this morning.

He did wake up and wiggle away and his heart trace was perfect on the CTG so all was good.

The midwife measured bump and we measured at 31cm. We measured at 32/33cm at our last midwife appt on 3rd March. So the Dr ordered us to call back in today for another CTG and emergency growth scan.

CTG again was perfect and he leaked at 174 beats when kicking around today.

His growth scan showed he is only weighing an estimated 5lb, but placenta and cord are perfect.

We have to go back on Saturday for another observation & CTG and again on Tuesday. However on Tuesday I'll have an internal examination to see if my cervix is favourable as they want to induce me so my little miracle will be arriving within the next week or so.

Was not expecting that at all, and my midwife appts have never suggested baby was small or there was an issue with my measurements. But the consultant/ Dr today says we are below 10th centile.

That's great all went well today and no problems. Am a April mummy but now am going to be a March mummy I wasn't expecting it when they told me either. Mines due to medical problems with my womb rather than size of baby etc...have they said what will happen tuesday if cervix is not favourable? I was thinking about taking primrose oil I've seen a few here talking about it I thought it may make my process quicker xx

Wow, exciting stuff. Glad everything is all ok with LO though. Do you need to get anything sorted before baby arrives?

I've bought some EPO but don't know wether to take it in a small dose or not to bother. Already been on RLT capsules for a week.

Just want him to keep wiggling so I don't start worrying about him xxx
