Im confused...

When you read about stages of pregnancy and they say 10 weeks gestation is that 10 weeks from your LMP or 10 weeks from conception (12 weeks pregnant?)

And if Im 12 weeks tomorrow should I be reading about week 13 or week 12?

Good question........I've not thought about this, I have been reading about the week that I am from LMP, so this week reading about Week 23 cos I'm in my 23rd week having completed 22 full weeks since LMP.

I read up on huggies website by the weekly calendar, and with that one I put in my EDD and when I log in it flicks to the right week of the calendar for you....I just checked and it took me to Week 23.

I think they way it works is that you are pregnant for 40 weeks from your LMP.
You should always use LMP.

Say you are 12 weeks and 2 days pg...

You are 12 weeks pg, but into your 13th week of pg.

And from conception that would be 10 weeks.



Not at all confusing....
