ok, so its 14 decgrees here today, so neither hot or cold, well my feet are swollen to the size of dinner plates again and apparently the way to stop it is to put my feet up higher than the height of my heart (practical when i'm at work hey) well has anyone got any other advice?

Oh and i've been sat down most the morning other than to pop to the loo, have a walk around my office etc.

please ignore my shaving rash on my legs lol and no i dont normally have any puffyness to my feet at all. they're just normal feet. gosh i wish i had a before pik lol

Oh no you poor thing, is it painful? I haven't had feet swelling yet, but my hands and fingers have been swelling really bad.

Sorry I do not have any good advice :(

xxx

lol, it is painful when they get too big, they actually look so strange, had to upload a pik - Nutty professor fat feet lol

Oh dear, that is one pair of swollen tootsies! Perhaps put them in some cold water...poor thing x

maybe soal them in cold water and keep them up x

Don't just sit, you have to move around without standing on your feet without moving ifykwim. Having the same position for long time makes t worst.
When you go home and at night put your feet on a pillow to keep them a little higher. Also drink lots of water as this will help too.
You can buy a pair of compression shocks to wear at work to prevent this from happening again (or to not be so bad as from some point most pregnant women get swollen feet)

I've got a foot rest etc, but apparently they need to be above the level of my heart when they swell... not too sure i can work on reception with my feet above me head lol. although it could be fun to try.

i lie with them on a pilllow every evening after dinner and everynight to sleep, but 1/2 hour after i get out of bed..... Nutty professor feet return

I've been trying to spent as much time as I can sitting in the garden in the shade with my feet in the paddling pool . Heaven! my feet and ankles are very swollen too and my legs feel like someone has filled them with concrete , but the relief is nice while it lasts. xx

Have you told your midwife? Is your BP ok? I hope they deflate soon! Xxx

Gosh, poor you hun! I looked at my feet yesterday and I thought they looked a little more swollen than normal but nothing like yours. No advice I'm afraid from me, just didn't want to read and run :) x

i feel for you, ive d really swollen feet recently and they feel really tight aswell. As long as you havent got a raised bp and other swelling or anything untoward you should be ok, just mention it to mw xx

I have massive feet and hands today I feel your pain xxx

Yeah midwife knows and my box is fine so hopefully they'll just ease in their own time
Lol

I've swollen up over the last few days too :( swelling usually goes down over night but is back up again by the time I get home from work. I've been soaking my feet in really cold water to reduce it. Luckily hands have been ok (so far!).

Oh no :( You poor thing.

I have no recent experience but elevating them is the best, hard at work but some websites suggest a stool/box under your desk if you sit for a while. Not sure if it will do any good but you could always try.

Aww you poor thing. I had this couple of weeks ago but only one foot. At least you're balanced!! All I can say is get up on when you're home and buy some Ben and Jerry's as a treat. Have you tried the new caramel one? That's my new love affair!!

xx
