any one heard of this i got told that mothercare give u a yrs worth of free nappies, my Friend who works in Adsa said defo tell some one as u get loads of things nappies baby wipes baby clothes????

my waters broke in tescos when i was 35weeks with Dior i just carried on shopping then went!!!!!!!!!!
GUTTED what have i missed out on???

any one no if this is true?

if so im driving straight to mother care when they go

I heard that happens in mothercare, but i didn't know about asda!!

You'd feel a bit of a fool just going up to customer services saying "excuse me luv, my waters have broke, what you offering as freebees?!!"

What would you say?, unless you just asked for a mop!! Lol

Someone gave birth in our local Asda about 3 weeks ago, don't know if they got anything. It made the papers tho.!
Virgin give the child free flights if you're born on one of their flights! very nice too.
I've also heard about Mothercare, think i'll go and wait in there for a while!

I bet that's a cheap do for them!! Lol

I might go in with a pillow under my top and a bottle of water pour it on the floor and say my waters had gone, freebies would come in handly!!

lol thats why i didnt say any thing i didnt need a mop it was dribbling all in my knickers not a huge gush like most expect

but me and my partner have got it planned
wheN i no its time to go the hospital il get every thing in the car ready then go in to mother care il go the loo then kris will go to shop assistant and say "my partner is in the loo her waters have gone"

then il come out the loo with strong contractions then il go of to the hospital if i aint got my freebies il go in a few weeks later with baby and say thank u for there help, if i still dont get any thing il write a letter to the highest person i can find lol

Lol, round here if your waters went in any of the shops you'd probably be barred for making a mess!!

Lol Dionne, Tescos round here do somthing similar, I think you get £100 worth of nappies and lots of other goodies, DH has told me that we are defo going in when I am due - he even suggested that he will throw a bottle of water over me I think you just have to tell a memebr of management and ask if there is anywhere you can go to clean up and bobs your uncle!!!

It's well worth feeling embarrased for a while for all the freebies

I've heard that you get a yr supply of nappies and other great stuff from asda, my OH has said he wants to do the shopping when my waters break!!! typical for me i'd end up having him on the loo floor or something!!!
But asda do it as well. so ladies how many of us are going to start queuein up for mothercare and asda then ? ?

I thought it happened everywhere. If your waters break in a supermarket you get whatever you have in your trolley free. I was going to fill up 4 trolleys when I was due and sleep in Asda till my waters went.

Sounds like a excellent plan just get everyone in your family to grab a trolley and follow you round shop until it's time!!!

I know the John Lewis store in Aberdeen gives you £2000 vouchers to spend in kiddies dept if your waters break there. Guess where I will be living for the week before I'm due. lol!

Or on the other hand - I'm hoping I'm early as going to see Bon Jovi at Hampden 3wks before I am due . I'm hoping my baby is born there so sexy Jon Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora as my little ones God father!! I can always dream
