Can anyone offer some idea's what i can get my girls, 8 & 7, They have loads so were struggling for ideas... They have loads of barbies, monster high dolls, babies, books, computer, bikes, scooters, art and craft stuff, sylvanian families and loads more

They share a room and don't have a lot of space and banging my head against the wall as they don't know what they want and sometimes don't respect what they have :wall2:

I have this problem sort of - my OH has a 7 year old and she literally has EVERYTHING! She doesn't look after anything she does have because her gran and mum just buy her new stuff if something is broken. I actually felt sorry for her last Christmas as she had a new baby sister so they went mad buying her stuff so she wouldn't feel left out and she honestly looked so confused as she had no idea where to start!

This year we are getting her a new dolls pram as her is knackered which means she can push her pram along when I'm pushing mine and apart from that I think we will mainly get her story books and things which she can make and maybe a few bits and pieces clothes wise - although she has far too many clothes as well!

The other thing we are thinking of doing because her room is so jammed full of toys with no apparent place is to make her a toy box - which she will then be able to decorate and paint herself - gives her something arty to do and gets the toys tidied up at the same time!xx

That's a good idea, my girls are kinda pasted the pram pushing stage, they would rather go on their scooters while Im pushing the buggy, they have a toy box and boxes under there bunk beds and still don't put stuff away, only have a small playing area in their room and they choose to make it a mess and not put stuff away even after being asked, they have a toy box each in the dining room too. I think I'm going to ask them to help me have a clear out with what they don't play with anymore and see what's left :/ x

That sounds like a good idea. get them to tell you what they dont want anymore and go from there :) xx
