I want to feel a kick now

I'm so impatient.. an all the books says 16 weeks onwards..

i need to feel a kick or something.. so far i dont feel pregnant..

i havent been sick at all throughout my pregnancy...

please baby...pleasssseeee kick.....!!!

Have you felt any popping sesations yet that you would consider to be wind? cause thats what the first feelings of kicks are.

I totally agree. I am only 15 weeks but still so keen to feel something. I do have the sickness etc so do not wish that on you - enjoy feeling normal! Good luck!

I first felt it at 17 weeks but you might not recognise it as a kick.

I just felt really nervous! You know when your tummy turns over or you get 'butterflies'? I remember saying to OH 'I feel really anxious about something but I don't know what' And that was the baby.

It was nearer 20 weeks before it felt like a 'kick'

Just keep still and concentrate on ANY sensation and see if you can feel it!

I am the same as you. I haven't felt anything yet but apparently in all the books I will any day now! Expect to feel a fluttering feeling. My friend says it feels like someone is stroking you with a soft paintbrush from the inside!!

I think its difficult to know whether its movement or wind lol, sometimes I find myself wondering!! Be great when we can feel actual kicks and see our tummies change shape

If you can stay up really late because this is when baby is most active and you may feel something

it is really hard to tell at first the best way is lay on your bed make sure its all quiet and then wiggle your belly!!

I didnt think I had felt kicks although I had felt movement but have definately had the little popping sensations so I must have felt a kick - YAY!!

 

I agree with Hev's advice, I used to lay on my back at night in bed when it was quiet and still. I would poke my belly (carefully mind you!) and I could feel popping. I felt Damien very early thouigh. Got early flutters and popping feelings from 14-15 week, and by 19weeks the kicks were so strong my belly rippled liek crazy and my DF could feel them. I was all bump.

try haveing a cold drink then laying down and seeing if bubs moves x

my other half has a game with the baby now its really cute! hes pokes my belly and she pokes back! its really funny

I felt a strong "somersault" in the left side of my belly last week, it was weird, and I thought it was wind, but mymidwife said it was prob the baby..felt a tightening and bubbling as well since, not often but its a weird and wonderful thing when it happens!!

OH is dead impatient and wants to feel it too, bless, he lies with head on my belly all the time "talking" to baby through my belly button!! Poor little one inside, he already knows his daddy is a loon!!! (I kept saying him as I am convinced its a boy) xx

Ha thats funny my OH is getting inpatient too! I felt mine at about 18 weeks, i went into the club house at a caravan park, the music was loud and vibrating, that's when s/he startred moving. Ever since then i feel it all the time especially after i've eaten (must like their grub just like mum!) You'll know when you feel it and i'm sure you won't be waiting much longer.
