So we have come up with

Jaxon Cole Warren John ( Warren my Surname, John OH's - will be mine after marriage too)

I've read online about the way Jaxon is spelt & people mentioning it would be better for the child if it was spelt Jackson.
My issue with that is that I don't want it shortened to Jack, But to Jax.

What do you think?

I like it. I've always loved Jax on its own any way - ignore the traditionalists ;)

I love Jaxon and much prefer it to Jackson - mainly due to Jax over Jack :) xx

Lovely name, but if I'm honest I think regardless of how it's spelt others will shorten name to Jack. Unless you explicitly say constantly, 'no it's spelt with an x not ck'.

Spelt either way it sounds the same and if spelt Jackson why not encourage for him to be called Jacks? Phonetically it sounds the same.

Each to their own and it is your choice but I have a name that all my life I have had to correct people on its spelling.

X

I'm having my surname as a middle name too :) OH's surname as little man's surname. Still completely stuffed for a first name though! xx

I think people will go on what you call him, so if you call him Jax, other people will too. x

Thank you Ladies.

We've had this name in our heads for a while, We also have no alternative haha !

Literally boys names are very difficult to find one I like.
