i need help - whos done any courses ? Eg mechanics?

Id really love to do a mechanics course - at home if possible.
Id really like to know the following info:

Would it cost - if so much ££
Could it be done at home?

Have been searching around for you as am a learning representative in my workplace and the only one that I can find at the moment is a basic mechanical engineering course through ICS (icslearn.co.uk) but its about £400 which I know is expensive. I think your best option is to try local colleges for courses as these could be cheaper. Where abouts do you live?
I'll keep searching and see what else I can come up with for you.

car mechanics course wouldnt be able to be done at home as you will need to do practical assessments of your work and repairs etc, your local college will be best place to advise you of the type of course

I live in Gloucestershire. Heart of the cotswolds so ive been told haha.
Cirencester college is probably the nearest to me xx
