Basically my nan was in hospital for a month she came home thurs, I haven't been visiting her coz her ward got shut down this past week for an outbreak of it. My mum didn't even go see her incase she got it an passed it to me. But the my mum called the hospital an explained about me, they said once she's been home 2 nights an has had no symptoms then she's clear an I'm good to go see her.
Went to see her yesterday afternoon didn't actually kiss her an was very careful. But it started 3.30am... It's awful and uncontrollable from both ends (sorry tmi) it's just not letting up. I rang the out of hours doc an she asked loadsa questions, said its norovirus, it won't harm baby unless I get dehydrated, so I'm forcing dioralite down my neck and on her advice flat coke bit not for long. She got a nurse to keep ringing every so often to check on me an kept asking if I have any extra discharge, bleeding or a rash... Because also in the hospital is some bug called c.difficile. Just wondering if anyone had this in pregnancy before can give me any more advice? Feel like a zombie... As for the cramps well I think my hopes for as little pain relief in labour are out the window. If someone could have given me an epidural 4am I'd happily have had one.
Sorry for another essay. I can still feel bump wrighling away by the way. Xxx
