I got UTI

The doctors receptionist phoned me today to tell me the urine sample I took in last Thursday showed I got a UTI and I got a presciption waiting at the surgery for antibiotics. I feel absoluteley fine though . I hate having to take any kind of medication unless I really need it, so as I feel fine is it nessecery to take them?

It is probably best to, you don't want the infection to get worse and then you end up feeling poorly.
Hope it goes away quickly

i had one and it was a kidney inf in the end. i had chills and backpain and worse nausea and vomiting than i should hav had
to be on the safe side take the antiobiotics as they are safe in pregnancy.

You should def take them even if you are feeling fine. Remember that UTI's can affect your baby if left untreated. xx
