I got my c-section!!!Soo soo happy!

I had all these problems with severe SPD and I was really scared about giving birth with this problem and how good my recovery will be, if I would give vaginal birth.

Had an absolute awful appointment with one consultant last week who just shouted at me, so I decided to have 2nd opinion from other doctor.

Anyways, I went to see him today, and I cant believe that there can be such a difference in attitude!!! He said, that in my condition (non stop pain and being on crutches) it would be a better option, if that is what I want!

So, I will see my baby boy next week!!!Got an appointment for c-section next week on Thursday, 13 (hehe about the date )

I am so very pleased and so very relieved!!!!

I'm so glad to hear that you've got the news that you can have the birth you want - you'll be able to relax now, safe in the knowledge that you LO will be coming at an exact time (and 13 has always been a lucky number for me!).

Isn't it funny how we all imagine our "ideal" birth differently? Well, I mean that it just goes to show that what's right and good for one person isn't always the same for another. Last week, a few of us on here were dreading the thought we might need to have a c-section and I was thinking about my cousin who, like you, was praying she'd get one!

I think that we should all have the birth choice that's best for us. Good for that doctor who listened to you and arranged for you to have your c-section.
