I got my booking in appointment date through today....

......and its making it all seem so real!

Its on Monday 13th October, in my 8th week and im really chuffed because im seeing the midwife I really bonded with in my last pregnancy.

A week on Monday I cant wait! I was reading all the leaflets that came with my letter and it was all coming back to me, im SO excited

thats great news.

I have mine on the 17th when will be nearly 10 weeks (going by the midwifes date) im really looking forward to it apart from having the bloods done, i hate needles.

Great news Jaidy!! I had mine this week and it was lovely apart from the bloods-that hurt!

i have mine on monday - i'll only be 5 weeks - feels a little early but we'll see what they say...

not looking forward to the bloods and i'm rhesus neg so another round of jabby needles but hey ho, its all part of the fun eh!

Yay for everyone I got my scan date this morning. It's on the 17th when I'll be 12 weeks (by my reckoning). If I had the energy I'd be jumping up and down with excitment

I had my bloods taken a couple of weeks ago by the midwife, they were okay. She used that mifty vacuum needle thing so she only had to stab me once and drain me for a bit to fill all the little bottles

Actually are they standard practice now? Think I might be showing my age, they used to have big fat needles once upon a time

I only had one needle put in and she filled 4 bottles without having to pull the needle out-it made my arm go dead and my fingers tingle though-i hated it

yeah, i hate having blood taken too - i have tattoos, piercings, i gave birth to Boo on gas and air alone but having blood taken seems to hurt me so much! i get quite upset by the end of it - its when the needle comes out its the worst...

mad thing is, i used to work in the lab where my blood will end up - i used to unpack all the rubella bloods - how mad to think my old colleagues will be unpacking and testing my blood...
