well as the title says i didnt even have to ask cervix is slightly to the left soft 2cm but not stretchy succesful sweep around membranes she could feel her head so lets hope that it encourages her to come out lol


and she put on my notes if all is well to be discharged from delivery rather than be moved to the ward get in haha

i know im well happy she wrote it in big letters on my notes so hopefully i can come home instead of trying to rest on a noisy ward i want to go in the night now so i can suprised the kids when they wake up haha im excited

I don't know why but giving birth during the day freaks me out! Lol... I gave birth at night last time, and I really hope I give birth again in the night!!

But I suppose when I am all achy and uncomfortable and prob overdue I won't care!

Would be great if you started labour this evening/night xx

i had a sweep on my 1st and i had her the next day

mine have been evening or dinner delivery, im hoping i go tonight too lol i have asked the mil to stay over just incase so we dont have to worry about getting her here to babysit

i know i was shocked she said right lets see if we can get you started it didnt hurt either apparently im very tolerant lol i think the 4 kids i have delivered has helped ease it lol

Lol I think the 4 kids may have helped - but you strike me as a very relaxed person so that would help loads I reckon!

Will they give you more time in the labour room then? Surely they would have to check you for late bleeding and such? I know you said you need to be more aware of it seen as it's your 5th

yeah i can stay in the delivery room till i am discharged but if i bleed bad then i will have to stay in i wont risk that, i havent lost much on the others so im hoping i dont on this 1 and my uterus normally shrinks back pretty quickly too so thats in my favour

i really want to suprise the kids now i think they would be mega suprised and it would be better than them sitting at home anxiously waiting

I am sure you will be fine! As you said you have not bled that much with the others - you know what it's like they have to warn you of worst just in case!

Yeah I agree you seem like quite a relaxed and laid back person.
Things are looking good for you, I'm extremely jealous and that's good about being discharged from delivery.
I will need at least one night in hospital to figure out how the hell to look after a baby

I think there is going to be a baby boom between now and sunday, hopefully my prediction refers to me as well x

i can feel pressure around my cervix hopefully its stretching last time i had a sweep was 11 years ago so i cant remember if i got this or not lol

Hi there i had a sweep done today apparently im two to three cms 60 per cent effaced my cervix that is.Lost my show ages ago so really hoping not gona be much longer.Been booked in for induction on the tenth.So hopefully it will be before than xAs im 3 days late grrr lol
