I was pretty sure I could feel him a couple of nights ago but this morning int he car on the way to work there was a definite Maurice-caused fluttering!!!

He did it when the Beatles came on the radio so at least I can rest easy in the knowledge that my little one has good taste in music.

Isn't 16 weeks a bit early though? Do you think it's because I'm quite petite?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Apparently if you're petite you can feel bubs earlier on! :D

xx

i dont think 16 weeks is too early i havent felt anything yet, well not that i noticed :rotfl:.

I first felt Bean at 14 weeks,

at first i thought it was wind but it happened frequently so i put it down to Bean having a stretch..

i think it varies from woman to woman though.

wonderful feeling isnt it?

It is Linda - although I have to admit when I first heard everyone talking about 'fluttering' I thought they were mental but that is exactly what it is like. Totally different to stretching pains/wind.

I'm so excited now! Goodness knows how I'm going to teach hyperactive Year 8 next.... !!!

I wonder if its baby I can feel moving :\? I feel as though.. someone on the inside is lightly tapping on my bump from inside like rain dropping on it haha but in odd places! :\

ooo, I get that too, but it is quite light and I am not sure if it is my littlie...I thought it must just be wind or something, but it does feel different.

Hooray for Maurice :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

:cheer: :cheer: i've only felt a couple of proper kicks but now and then i feel a 'squirming' type feeling..i cant wait to feel more!

how come you know maurice is a he so early?

yay hun
ive felt mine move a few times now nothing strong but she there doing it :0
manda xx

I've felt mine since 10 weeks but it is my 4th (6th preg) so maybe things are more sensitive - havent felt much for a while tho - mainly in bed at night and as I fall asleep pretty much as soon as my head hits the pillow not much chance of feeling anything then!!

gymbabeliz - I don't know Maurice is a he, in fact I strongly suspect he's a she! But he/she was conceived in Mauritius so ever since we knew I was pregnant he's been referred to as Maurice.

You should *see* people's face when I say "Maurice"... I regularly have to explain it's a current joke name until we find out the gender.

The only problem is that all my family and friends refer to him as Maurice all the time now and it's going to be really hard to adjust :rotfl:

:cheer: :cheer:

ive only just started feeling this bubs but then again ive a chubby belly

I felt my little one at 16 weeks - little flutterings. It'll be amazing when we can feel kicks and hiccups! x

I felt my baby move for the first time at 15 weeks but nothing consistently until 16-17 weeks. She/he now has very regular periods of being awake and asleep- seems to like Pearl Jam much to the delight of my husband! :D
