I didn't get a positive OPK this month...

Hi, been away in Ireland for awhile so haven't been on! (So glad to see all the BFPs!)
I've still been using OPKs from the 1st until now really...and I haven't had a positive one, they've all had a very faint line or nothing at all..
There was one which was a tiny bit darker, but it wouldn't class as a positive I dont think.
I did have some pain in my left hip not alot and lasted for not even a day tbh on and off, which i thought was ov pain...7 days until im supposed to get my period and have no signs at all! I usually start cramping by now and feel like it coming but nothing...(TMI) Earlier in the month I was very wet all the time, like on the first day it started happening I actually had to change my underwear, it honestly felt like I peed myself aha! The days after that wasn't so bad, but was still alot there, it was just like water, clear and thin etc.
Maybe I didn't OV this month? Confused!
I did a hpt this morning which was a bfn.

You may well have missed the surge, somttimes its really quick. Do you test a couple of times a day? I'm the opposite to you as I have been testing since last Thursday and had positives every day, so 5 days worth..so far?!? our bodies are very strange sometimes.

Yeah, i was testing sort of about 11/12 then again about 6/7..I even began doing it 3 times a day! lol ... Positives for 5 days hmm, very strange?! Have you taken a hpt just to rule it out?

I was just coming on here to post just the same thing! Previous cycles I have used 3 Opks a day but I have been trying to be a bit more chilled this month & so I only used 3 tests over the whole weekend as I was expecting to Ov Monday..... but I never got more than a very feint line Sat & Sun mornings and was expecting to get a dark on the Sunday evening - but didbt & the line had totally vanished by Mon am...we had sex Sat & Sun nights but I wondered if we'd actually missed it. Today though I have the type of pain I associate with Ov.... So I am rather confused now and wondering if sex on Sun would be enough if I'm only going to ovulate today?!

Have you tested today? Maybe you missed it because you was doing it 3 times a day so would have caught it before?
I know so confusing! The only thing that is happening with me is sore nipples (but i've been wearing some new bras which are pretty tight so I think its that), other than that absolutely nothing!
I did another opk earlier and theres a faint line again, im gonna do another one later. My hubby said whats the point considering im close to my af which should come one the 22nd, but i just want to know whats going on lol.

Got a negative today!! Such relief, I honestly dont understand our bodies sometimes....I think we all seem to have a few 'weird' cycles every now and then to keep us on our toes! FX you get your positive soon......theres me with too many and you not getting any

Hmm they're definitely not +, you could have missed your surge or you could ov soon and have a longer cycle. Unfortunately you might not have ov'd at all this cycle. FX you did and caught that egg! X

It's catching that perfect time (I can test at 2pm and get a positive or 5pm and get one when my 2pm was non existant?! You just cant tell) or maybe you're not be holding your wee in for long enough ?

Just to throw this in there I've bought cheapies off Amazon and Ebay for 3 months and only when I bought Clearblue OPK did I get my postives 2 days in a row.

I did a test myself with 3 different type of tests, The super cheapy one didn't pick it up at all, The seconday cheapy (brand from Babymad) was a little lighter than the test line and the clearblue was a strong postive.

Remember aswell having a postive isnt a guarantee on ovulation so don't depend on them, you could get positives and not ovulate or completely miss it. Maybe best to combine it with BBT if you want to make sure x
