Only 4 Days till my 12 week scan and I am SO excited!! Not just do I get to see my baby for the first time but were going to announce our pregnancy to OHs side of the family (two of his sisters already know) and my Dad

My Parents have been separated since I was about 6/7 and I hadn't seen him for about 13 years as he moved to Cyprus with his girlfriend. Finally took the plunge and contacted him when I was 19 and had a lovely phone call as you can imagine lots of tears! Then last year when I was 20 he was back in England (where I was born) and we finally got to "meet" so to say. Was absolutely lovely and I've been back and seen him 3 times now. I am just so excited to tell him my news that he's going to be a Granddad again When he left for Cyprus he had one granddaughter, my sisters, and when he got back he had 10 Grandchildren LOL, mostly my sisters kids and a few my brothers, so he's used to it by now but my Dad and I were always the closest before the split and I know he's going to be so pleased for us

That's lovely , I'm waiting also only oh and I know , been trying to avoid family and awkward questions, can't wait for scan then we can shout it from the rooftops so exciting. Good luck with your scan and enjoy that special phone call to your dad. All the best xx
