Just wanted to moan to anyone who'll listen.
I can't sleep.
My husband snores. Like a train. That's the worst thing. He sometimes offers to go and sleep somewhere else, but I don't feel as if I can kick him out. Doesn't seem right.
Our four year old has taken to joining us in our bed earlier and earlier. I love her dearly, and to me usually, there is nothing nicer than having her snuggle in with us. But right now, there just never seems to be enough space.
And then, there's the pregnancy it's self. 30 weeks today. Marvellous. Excited to be this far on. But my hips ache, today I have this pain all down one arm and shoulder. I have this silly constantly blocked nose thing. And I just can't get comfortable.
In my previous pregnancies I used pernickerty things like a pillow between my knees- but when there are so many people in the bed, and when I toss and turn as much as I do right now, something like that just wouldn't work.
So I'm downstairs on the internet instead of upstairs sleeping with my family.
Just thought I'd let somebody know.

Thanks for listening.

I know exactly how you feel.
Have been up since 5.45 this morning.
Snoring hubby,cant get comfie.
Think it is just to toughn us u again for the LO's
arrival.
Can u go back to bed once hubby is up ?
Or does Daughter not go to nursery or school yet?

I know how you feel too. I am having such trouble sleeping and am soooo tired. Last night I didn't get off to sleep until 1am then was up at 2. Back to sleep at 3.30am, up at 5 and have been up ever since.
My husband snores like a train too but he slept in the spare room last night as either he's keeping me awake snoring or I'm keeping him awake weeing and watching telly!
I just want some

family up now. Hubbie gone to work. Daughter gone to school. Tired, but not sleepy anymore. Off work due to pregnancy complications (which have nothing at all to do with sleep)- so will probably try to catch 40 winks later.... I hope!
Snoring husbands- it's the last thing we need!!

Can't resolve general pregnancy insomnia, especially as I've just hit a patch myself, but these ear-plugs are the bogs dollocks as reducing snoring sounds: http://www.britishsnoring.co.uk/shop/sn ... _pairs.php

They're much better than anything you can buy in the shops. They get rid of most sound and a sharp elbow gets rid of the rest

ooo i want some, coz ive just been using normal ear plugs...but sometimes their just not quite good enough..

They must be bloody good cos my mum's partner works in a very noisy factory and that is what they use.
Will have to get some from him.
Have been going with the elbow/rib technique but i fear i may get more aggressive as time goes on.
Poor baby will be visiting mummy in prison cos she bumped daddy off :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah I first got them from a website that specialised in noise reduction in industry :rotfl: Bless my OH - I need industrial strength noise protection and even that isn't always enough :rotfl:

I was going to post a similar thread today, I am so tired and emotional from being up almost 24 hours! It's ridiculous. It must be the anxious waiting for baby to arrive and all the excitement. I can't think straight and I feel like absolute cr*p and it is getting beyond the joke now this lack of sleep!
