i have just made enquiries about a private early dating/viability scan and have found somewhere for £45... for that price i'm afraid i just can't resist!!!! waiting to hear back from them with an appointment!!!!

hiya - going on monday hurrah!!! i knew i wouldn't be able to wait!!! how you feeling now mummytoadam - has your pains gone away? mine have been less noticeable the last few days but i can't wait to go and just check everything is ok on monday! So i have got doc's for booking in appointment on monday morning at 930. then the scan at 1230... and its our 1st wedding anniversairy on Monday too (although we been together 12 years) .... busy day! fingers crossed they can see something and confirm it's all ok - did you see much on yours?

I had one last week for the same price, and it was defo worth it!!
I got to see a little kidney bean shape, but you could see the heart beating like mad, which was the best (and most reassuring thing!). They also checked my ovaries, womb lining, etc, so everything looks ok. Hubby came with me, and for the first time, got a bit emotional, as it was the first time it seemed 'real' to him.

Ive still got another 4 weeks untill my 12 weeks scan, so couldnt have waited much longer!
It doesnt take away the worry though - mines back again now, lol!

I stll have pains hun but they are not as strong, thanks for asking Treeze. I bet u cant wait for your scan now.

I agree an early scan is reassuring at the time but the worry does come back quite soon x x

thanks for the replies - yes i'm sure i will be the same worry quite soon after! but at least it confirms it is all in the right place etc which is my main worry at the moment. will le you know how it goes x x x
