I’m so confused!! Please help after chemical

Last Monday I had a positive hpt.. on Tuesday the doctor confirmed but than I began to bleed and Wednesday the doctor got my blood test results back from the previous day and said my hcg levels were only 10 and I was miscarying because I was bleeding kinda heavy. my curiousity peeked today so I took a pregnancy test, so when I got my blood work done on Tuesday my hcg was only 10 and this is why the doctor said I was miscarying along with my bleeding. So when I took a dollar tree test last week on Monday it was barely positive , I just took one and it’s stronger than it was last week before I miscarried ?? I’m lost. And if my hcg was only 10 last week why would I still get a positive and stronger ? Last weeks Is on bottom today’s is on top .. sorry for rambling

That is bizarre. So you had a HCG level of 10 a week ago, had a proper bleed, and are now getting a pretty obvious positive? I’d try a different test brand (maybe clear blue digital since your HCG needs to be over 25 to get a positive on them) and if you get another positive go see a doctor for blood work. You shouldn’t have a line that clear if you miscarried a week ago and your level dropped to 10, but if you didn’t miscarry and the pregnancy continued, the line would normally be a lot stronger.. it’s probably that the HCG is just taking a long time to leave your body but keep us updated x

I’ve taken two more test and all pretty strong positives. And these test are not very sensitive

I’d ask dr to repeat the blood test. With my ds I bled a couple of times, like periods just a bit shorter than normal and close together. I was convinced I was going to misscarry but he hung in there.
My second pregnancy not so lucky.

When I had my first mc in Feb it was confirmed via bloods...I was still getting positive pregnancy tests 2
-3weeks later.

They look too strong to be a miscarriage, certainly after the faint ones!
I would return to the gp to get a blood test, show him the tests just in case!x

I agree, i think you should get repeat blood tests done. Your lines shouldn't be darker than the previous day if you are having a miscarriage.

That’s darker again so I’m inclined to believe you haven’t lost this pregnancy. Must’ve just gotten off to a slow start x

I just took another cheap one and it’s still obviously positive just don’t know if it’s AS dark ..

The only way you are going to know for sure is by going back to your doctor for another blood test. Good luck! x

for peace of mind maybe take a clear blue weeks indicator if its above showing 2-3 or 3plus then you will know your hcg has increased until you get to doctors

I'd go for a scan. You don't have to deal with your GP you can call the Early Pregnancy Unit and speak to them. Some women bleed and stay pregnant but I also imagine it takes a few weeks for the pos test to go negative too.

But my levels rose they didn’t fall.

It sounds to me like you could be having an unviable pregnancy like a blighted ovum, or even an ectopic - ectopic usually shows slow rising hcg and spotting weeks before the pain makes it obvious it’s ectopic, the bleeding and hcg only going from 10 to 32 in a week would strongly suggest the pregnancy is not going to progress well sorry to be a Debbie downer on you, I think you should push to be scanned just so they can check it’s not ectopic, I hope it all resolves quickly x

Your not being a Debbie downer! I’ve taken in all the reality of this and I’m accepting something is definitely wrong. Just wish I knew what it was..
