Hi all.
My baby is 11 weeks old and has now moved into his big cot that's in our room. He sleeps well during the night, goes down around 8:30 and wakes around 7am. He has night feeds around every 1.5-3 hours, starting off with 3 hours the getting more regular, though he doesn't properly wake for feeds.
The problem we have is that when I put him down, he starts to rub his eyes really hard and sometimes smacks himself in the face, always waking himself up. I've been wrapping his arms up in a cellular blanket, which seems to do the trick, but his body gets a little too warm and his legs have to be bear so he doesn't overheat (has only ever slept with baby grow under a sleep suit at most since birth and is a warm baby) and his legs get cold. We have the room at about 20 degrees.
Is there a better solution? Something that can wrap his arms up but not make him too hot? I'm not sure how we're going to manage when summer comes along :/
Any suggestions would be great
