How to break the news to non-approving family?

I recently took two HPT's in the last two days.
One in the late afternoon yesterday and again when I woke up this morning.
Both resulted in a Positive "Pregnant" result. I plan to schedule an appointment with my OBGYN on Monday to officially confirm that the HPT's are in-fact correct.

I'm currently living "at home" with family and my SO, unfortunately the family we are staying with is highly un-approving of the idea of my being pregnant and is a serious passive-aggressive type.
Any conversations with this family member that result in a "disapproving tone" typically send me into a mess of down-hill negative emotions.

How do I carefully break the news to this family member and others without resulting in the worst case of "This is SO irresponsible! You're not ready!" sort of response?

By the sounds of things it's inevitable, are you able to move out and get your own space? You can't change people's minds about these kinds of things unfortunately, so just do your best to buffer the comments with a friendly smile and say "it's happening one way or another so if you have nothing nice to say don't bother" etc. Don't let their opinions weigh down on you, look after your mental health.
