Most of the time , our babies are fine and smily and we can get use to this very easily :) However, after how many minutes/hours do you get tired when your baby is grumpy and crying?

Braydon is being very grumpy at tho mo not at all like him
and it gets me down so quickly the other day he got so over tired screamed for two hours wouldnt take a bottle or nuttin and i had to ring my mum as i just couldnt stop crying and that was making him worse

When she is crying for no reason and is throwing her self around and nothing with stop her it doesn't take me long to get fed up with the crying. Aimee starts off well in the morning and gets worse and worse as the day goes on so by around 6 o'clock i've had enough. I must admit when shes bad i can only take about 10-20 minutes then i just put her down!

Not long at all! He's such a happy baby most of the time that when he's grumpy or just doing that low grade constant whiney thing it gets too much for me really quickly, especially if it's the end of the day or I'm trying to finish some task that I can't just leave and bounce him around etc. Those times I tend to call my OH over or if I'm on my own I try singing silly baby songs as sometimes it cheers him up and even if it doesn't it kind of cheers me up!! It tends to happen when I'm half way through washing up for example or hanging out the washing or chopping something up. I guess we're programmed to have our baby's cries put every nerve in our bodies on edge or something?!

Depends how tired I am and if DH is home. If he is then I have a lot shorter span before I hand her over (5 mins max as he can help). If he's at work then I'll plug her into the boob as that helps (if she's grumpy and tired that generally gets her off too sleep 99% of the time). I find if I get out of the house she will chill out, she seems to play up more if we're cooped up indoors.

depends on how i feel, matthew was an angel yesterday did nothing but eat sleep and play, but if he is ever grumpy i either have to put him to bed to cry it out (he's normally tired I'm not being mean!) or i go to my parents so he can moan at them as well!!! if OH is at home then i leave him to deal with him most of the time as i want to get on with other things and its their time together.

Lake of sleep is the worst for causing my fuse to be short, i combat that with caffine and chocolate!!

Because Rubie doesn't cry much in general Im not used to it so when she gets grizzly and hard to settle, I don't have a lot of patience, I must admit

If she is in pain it doesn't bother I just feel sorry for her and the crying doesn't affect me in the same way.

Same as me Kim, Brody is usually really happy, so when he whinges and I don't know why, I get frustrated with it quite quickly. If I know why I'm fine, if he's teething or tired I can help him, otherwise it drives me mad
