How quick can you ovulate?

Those that have had positive opks, do they start off feint and build up, or can they go from very feint to positive? Thanks x

Mine are all over the place, I don’t get a clear progression so it’s hard for me to predict when it will happen - I also have semi- irregular cycles (28-34 days) so that might be the reason for it. This is a good article that shows how the surge can be different for different people: https://www.avawomen.com/avaworld/long-lh-surge-last/ - it has a nice diagram of how the progression would look like over time :)

Fab article thanks Pupperino!

My opks sometimes gradually darkened and other times went really dark literally between tests.

I'd just keep testing and keep on DTD every other day to cover you.

CD13 today, last nights opk was a squinter line, tested again this morning and instant feint line so hoping this is the lead up to ov now, been getting some cramping pains this morning. We usually dtd every other day anyway, so will continue doing that and when i get a positive opk, will make sure we dtd that evening and following day. x

Good luck Emma - sending you lots of baby dust for this cycle :dust:
Keep us updated!
I cant wait for AF to finish so i can start DTD (OH is literally not going to know whats going on) hahaha! x

Thanks Chattychar, will keep you updated on what happens with opks, i think it's always interesting to hear how things work for people, that's why i love this site, so many different experiences. x

Anyone have any regular symptoms they get when they are about to ovulate (apart from ewcm)? Just interested to know as I have probably only ovulated 3-4 times in my adult life due to being on the pill all of it (from 16 years old) apart from when i ttc my daughter 6 years ago and now obviously. x

That’s a good question Emma, id also like to know that.
First time off the pill for me since I was 17. X

How long have your cycles been since off the pill? When i come off it to ttc my daughter, my first cycle was 37 days, then second cycle i got BFP was 32 days. My first month off pill this time i got to 29 days, who knows what it will be this cycle! x

My first month I come off I wasn’t tracking it but k was really
Late. The next 2 was 28 days and this cycle it was 37.
Are you using any prenatal vitamins? X

Yes, been taking Pregnacare for over 2 months now. I think last time i ttc i used Boots brand, not sure if it's a coincidence but i never had ewcm when i ttc my daughter, and this time round i have been getting it, possibly thanks to Pregnacare, or possibly because i've had a baby already, who knows! x

I was on boots own brand but am waiting for the seven seas to arrive.
Have heard really good things about them not sure how true it is but i will give them a go.x

To be honest, they are prob all pretty much the same. I am giving conceive plus ago this cycle, used it when i got BFP ttc my daughter, could have just been a coincidence though. x

Oh really.
i have heard alot about conceive plus but tbh didnt really know what it was.
I have just looked it up and the success stories are brilliant.
Do you use the multi use or the pre-filled applicators?
X

I just use it as normal lube, not with applicators. Only using it around ov time, but can use it all the time if you want x

Yesss, it's got a lot darker tonight! :) x
