I was just wondering how often you all socalize your babies/children ? Im leaving work soon and plan to do a bit more with aimee as I think she needs to socialize more as she always cry's if I leave her anywhere, even if its for a minute & im worried its my doing by not taking her out enough.
She is also that age where she needs to burn some energy and gets bored at home.
At the mo i only meet with some other mum once a week, take her to the park and go shopping and maybe meet with a friend or something but dont do alot for her...

Braydon goes to nursery two days a week
and then we go to swimming or childsplay (soft play place) 1 day a week where he also plays with other kids

I take Brody about twice a week, but I'm lucky in that my best friend has a similar aged little boy so Brody sees her son a lot too.
I also have friends and babies over whenever I can...more for my sanity than Brody's socialising :lo:

Duds I wouldn't worry too much about how what your doing is affecting her. She is getting to see other babies when you can, and in the summer it will be a lot easier to pop out and go the the park and stuff. This time of year is always bad for feeling like you're not getting out enough.

i take the kids to group every weds. Dior has changed so much since going. in a good way and bad way :?
she used to be quiet and timmed and shy now she is confident and gobby to me

we have been going for about 6months now and last week was the first time Dior played with other children its took her ages to trust them but she does now :cheer:
in a couple of months i am going back to work and they will go to nursery 2 days a week.

We go to a singing group once a week and then spend the afternoon playing round someone's house as there are a few of us who are friends and we take it in turns to have an open house if you see what I mean? I'm lucky in that I live right next door to a street with all the shops and cafes etc and so whenever we leave the house we inevitably bump into someone we know and so random people come to play during the week. I also do all my shopping in the local shops and we make a habit of chatting to the shop owners and sometimes just go in to see them (especially the grannies in the charity shops!) so he likes to go to various shops because of the people who work there! I know that doesn't count as playing with other kids but I think it's important for them to socialise with adults too as much as possible and frankly without lots of adult contact everyday I would go crazy too!

My son goes to one once a week with my mom on a monday and he gets together with his two cousins twice a week.

I was taking him to baby signing classes but he kept crawling off and we missed it all! lol I seem to be very busy at the mo but will sort out taking him to a group on a wednesday soon.

I agree with Urchin - this time of year is harder to get out so you will be able to do much more when the better weather gets here.

wow I'm the only one that put "never".

I've tried it twice and I didn't enjoy it and neither did Lydia from the looks of it.
