Just wondering how often your LOs are feeding ... My LG has always fed quite often but around 10 weeks she then started going at least every 3 hours .... She then hit 12 weeks and started feeding every 2 hours if that day and night! Put this down to a growth spurt but just seems to have continued from then on? X

My lil boys 16weeks. He has 7oz bottle every 3hours. His last feed around 8-9pm then sleeps through to 7.30/8am.
Also has a few mouthfuls of porridge in a morn a hour after his 1st feed.

I was wondering if my LG was ready for a bit of solids too! (I know it's a controversial subject!!) As she just constantly seems hungry and will not really take formula ? Well done on the night times my LG is no where near going that long - sometimes it's only hour and half between feeds x x

I only give him a little bit in morn but he is Deffo more content in the day. Before he would have screaming fits lol. He was wanting milk all the time but couldn't keep it down. I did it as I felt its the right thing. Ur mum an go with what you feel is right. And my LO has pretty much always slept through. If been very very lucky lol xx

Hi

I'm Breastfeeding my son he is the same he wakes up every 2 hours sometimes less and he is 16 week old now..when he was about 13 weeks he did about 5 days where he slept from 8.30pm til 4 or 5 am then it just stopped and went back too 2 hours..I've started him on food I give him some baby porrige/cereal in a morning with some milk and then around 5pm I give him some baby rice(powder you add water too) he seems to be a lot fuller but still can't get him sleeping longer..guess he's just a hungry baby!

Babies tend to have a growth spurt at 4 months that's often why they'll feed more and it's often confused with them needing to start on solids. Mine are a lot older now but I always just fed on demand and didn't try to worry how often it was between feeds. And weaning early might not necessarily mean they'll go much longer between feeds. Xxx

Is she taking both sides every two hours? at that age I would feed 10 min off the first side then let her have as long as she wanted on the second side. I found otherwise she'd just keep sucking on the first side even though it was very slow flow, and then would get hungry again very quickly. After I changed, she was feeding about every four hours, though she did have a bout of cluster feeding around 4 months.
