Movement should i feel?
My midwife told me i should feel atleast 10 movements a day from baby, but i dont think i do some days, unless i just dont notice it sometimes!!
She told me to always go to the hospital and get monitored if i feel less movement, which i did once before and baby started kicking as soon as i got in the room!
The thing is i havnt felt much movement since yesturday lunch time, but i dont want to end up up the hospital everyweek, at the same time i want to know little one is ok :wall:
Maybe im just being paranoid!
Is anyone else unsure with babys movements, or is it just me lol!
Im 33 weeks by the way

I've been told the same - there are ways to feel baby move such as drink a very cold drink, lie down and relax (in a bath is nice), or the one that always works for me lol is hot chocolate (probably not to be recommended). At our ante -natal classes the MW said that as soon as you feel that you haven't felt the baby move, you should start counting the movements over the next 10 hours. It's just to make sure the baby is ok, and I'm sure they'd much rather you turned up wanting to check to be on the safe side than not at all.

thankyou gingerpig
Im going to have a bath now and try that, if not the hot chocolate sounds good!
I dont start my ante-natal classes till wed this week! Which is probably why i worry so much sometimes, feels like your left in the dark!
If no joy ill pop to the hospital this afternoon.
Thanks again

I have days when he really quietens down and movement really decreases but I think babies have quiet days like us when they're more sleepy!
Like gingerpig says, best thing to do is monitor movements. Lying on your side is best way to tell.
You could also print out your own kick chart and do that every day for reassurance.
