How many scans in first trimester?

Out of interest, how many scans are you planning to have in first trimester? Feels ages now when i have to wait for my 12 week scan!!

I had one private, 1 emergency early scan with epu and then dating scan this time.

With my 1st i had 3 emergency early scans with epu and dating scan x

I've got a private one booked next week and then a 12 week one at some point, hoping I don't need any emergency ones

With my first I only ever had one at 12 weeks.
This one I'm not sure if I want to request an early one, I've been told to as I've had losses since my first baby. Might wait until I see the midwife in 3weeks for my first appointment xx

I'm not having any.

I may need to agree to a growth scan or two at the end of the pregnancy so I am not having any before then.

With my first I had my first scan at about 20 weeks and then had some growth scans at the end (they were fine but I had Obstetric Cholestasis).
With my 2nd baby I had a dating scan & the 20 week scan and then had growth scans again due to OC.

This time I want to keep scanning to a minimum if at all so won't be having any unless I get OC again and there are concerns over the baby's size or movements.

Having one at 5-6 weeks then will have ones at 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 due to my past losses xxx

I'm going to pay for a private one at 7-8 weeks and then will have normal one at 12 x

By the time I get to 12 weeks I will of had 4, potentially 5.

I had first at 5.4 (they thought I was 6.4) next scan at 7.4.

I've got another one on 2nd Jan and then my official 12 week scan on 14th Jan.

I've had consecutive miscarriages previously so the early pregnancy unit at my hospital have been great with me.

I have half a uterus so it's a high risk pregnancy. We're 9 weeks and have had 4 scans so far, next one is on Wednesday and if everything is OK we might then go for 3 weeks until our dating scan at 13 weeks xx

Thanks ladies! A lot of different answers so i assume it all depends if youre high risk or not. I am waiting for my 12+1 scan the 5th of Jan and excited and nervous at the same time!!

I will have my first at 7+3 on the 12 of january. It seems so far away im dying to know if everything is ok. I also had a miscarriege in january so im beeing followed by my epu

We are trying to wait as long as we can. I felt so anxious with the first pregnancy I had with my husband (I have one older boy from first marriage) that we had two early scans - both fine. I still ended up having a mmc at 12 week scan which almost seemed worse as we thought everything was fine. It was a horrible experience. Then had an early mc. This time I am not even going to my GP for as long as possible. I think I am going to want something before 12 weeks but hoping to hold out until about 10 weeks. I'm hoping time will fly by!
