How many hours government funded schooling??

I have been told once they get to 2 or 3?? if they are in a private nursery they get so many hours schooling paid by the government, how many hours is it and does it start as soon as their birthday passes??

its the school term after they are 3 and its for 15 hours a week term yome only so if they are in private nursery you still have to pay full for school holidays

In Nottingham low income families can have 15 hours nursery paid for for 2 year olds. Every child gets some hours paid for from 3 onwards. I think its 15 hours again

i work in a private nursery its 2 and a half hours a day where u dont need to pay and starts the term after theyre 3

it was 2 1/2 it has now changed to 3 hours a day

Am I right in thinking too that it is flexible? As in it is 15 hours a week and you can choose when you take them, so you could use them for 2 and a half days rather than 3 hours a day.
