How long?

Can anyone tell me how long child and working tax credit claims usually take pleeeeease?

I put a claim in about 4 months ago and i think it took 2 weeks tops,i would advise ringing them to make sure there are no problems because when i rang they needed one last piece of information off me to start it and no one rang me They then asked me to ring back in 48 hours just to make sure there was nothing else and it was all sorted

I think mine took about 3 weeks but it was back dated to the date DD was born

Ooh, is that when they always backdate it from? That'd be good seeing as he's 6 weeks old now!
