do you stay under the care of the MW after birth? i need to know if its been too long since Bethan to phone them for advice?

i was told it is 10 days hun after i had thomas, then the hv's take over

It was 6 weeks for me. I'm sure you can phone them up, and if they are not the right people ask them to direct you to the right people. I remember DH phoning them up about LO's cord not coming off when Lo was 6 weeks old. They directed me to the HV, who said it was the MW's job. In the end the doctor just saw him at his 6 week check. Anyway...ramble ramble, they won't mind you phoning to check anyway.

Midwife will answer call until 5 weeks up here and then everything should be directed to the health visitor or GP until he's approx 1year old I think
