how long should a 20-24month old nap for?

Aimee has had a 1.5-2hr nap in the day for a long time and has always really needed it but the past week she has been waking up in floods of tears after 30-40mins and doesnt want to go back ... i asked someone about it & they said "well she is nearly 2" ....

just wondering what the norm is for nap times of her age ...?

brayd slept for and still sleeps for 2 hours in the day

Jess slept for about that when she was 2. It depends on what they need really.

Joe is a 2 hours napper but he is only 15 months.

Brody still goes for 2 hours and I'm going to try my very best to keep it that way!

Sometimes Ella doesn't have a nap, othertimes she'll nap for 2-3 hours.

Hannah sleeps for about 2 hours in the day

Aimee doesn't nap in the day any more. If she does have a nap its only about 40 minutes. I just can't get her to go bed in the day no more then she will be grumpy all afternoon She has NEVER napped more than 1 hour in the day anyway.

Lydia sleeps between 1 - 3 hours depending on her mood. (2 hours is the norm though)
