how long does the midwife/healthvis visit at home after del

my healthvisitor was supposed to come today but hasnt turned up she rang to say she would be late for our appointment but no later than 2 and its three its annoying ive waited all day for her and i wanted to find out how much molly weighed because she was still 8 lbs when they last weighed her, it seems different with molly than with my two boys. all the first visits ive had with molly are more about me than molly they didn't even do her legnth and they have weighed her twice so far.

just wondering how long they visit for and what your experiances are with visits.

I cant remember exactly how many times I had visits but she didnt come everyday because she thought I seemed to be coping well. She discharged me after about a week. The first time was really to check me and my stitches and ask questions about how I felt then she just made sure Isaac was ok after that.

I think they base it on the individual rather than having a set routine. My sister-in-law had visits everyday.

yeah i have had them every other day but she hasnt seen me since friday and shes now missed our appointment so i just want molly checked see if shes gaining weight and stuff so im a little annoyed.

every baby is different, Dior was prem and not doing very well with putting on weight ect,so i had HV for 2weeks but with Harley she only visit twice as she could se he was fine

Up here we only have home visits for 10 days i think. Then we go to clinic to see them.
