How long did you wait/will you wait for baby no.2?

I think we'll start trying for number 2 when Finn is 2 or 3 but, like Michelle said, I don't want a double buggy (with our hills, the single buggy kills me, let alone a double one!). I'd also like him to be at nursery or something like that so that I can give the baby my undivided attention during the day.

There was 3.5 yrs between my bro and I which was a good age diff I think but my mum was much younger than I am when she had me so she had age on her side and I will be 30ish by that time.

oh ... and I want a few months of full nights sleep too  ...and the uncomfortable-ness of pregnancy is still a bit too close for comfort at the mo :rotfl:

i really dont kno, iv always wanted children but i wasnt ready for a good while yet, i assumed around age 30 some biological clock would just kick in but until then it wasnt something i needed to give much thought to. and tbh my plans still havent changed- i dont feel ready yet, and im not gonna start having children before i feel ready to just because i had one accident (a very beautiful, amazing one i hasten to add, it sounds mean referring to her like that, but ykwim!) already! i dont kno when ill be ready so i cant put a number on it! sorry for the wishy-washy answer lol

I would have started trying again when Austin was 6 months if I'd got my own way but OH wanted to wait a bit longer. We started TTC just after Christmas, when he was 9 months old. It took 4 months to conceive & Austin will be 21 months when the new baby is born. I'm really looking forward to it, I know it will be hard work but hopefully they'll be good friends when they're older.

oh wow I didn't know you're pregnant! Congrats hun!!!!
There's 22 months between Lydia and Alex and I think it's a lovely age gap. It's hard in that one is teething whilst the other is going through 2 year old tantrums, but the positives outweigh all that. Austin will be old enough to be your little helper, but still young enough to be close to his little sibling. I think it's a grand age gap :)

Cheers hun, I'm really looking forward to it! I'm prepared to work hard though...

i would love another one now
but OH wants to wait till were married, and were going to start tryin as soon as,
i always wanted a small gap between babys 2 yrs at the most, but it didnt work out that way, were going to have more of a 5 yr gap if we fall practically straight away

We're ready now and just seeing how it goes

Ideally I want about a 2 and a half year age gap :D
