How long did it take for you to get AF after progesterone?

Hi ladies.

Finished the norethisterone 3 days ago, absolutely no spotting yet, been having AF cramps on and off for a duration on the pills, but the last two days have been extremely bad. I mean extremely.

Usually I spot for a few days prior to AF but absolutely nothing. Thw cramps are insanely bad, I have realpy bad crakps when AF is in town anyway but I have never had this type of sharp pain, it reminds me of rhe pinching when I had my HSG. It is absolutely aweful and has made me stop a few times.

Wondering for all you that have had to take norethisterone/provera, how long did AF take to show?

This is driving me mad. Just want to start the clomid already.

3-5 days apart from one occasion where it turned out I was pregnant. I didn't have any spotting but I don't usually either. Hope she shows soon and you can get on with the clomid.

Hopefully shes hear within the next day or two! I feel like its not fair to have cramps this bad and no bleeding. Will be cramping enough when she starts, why do I have to cramp now aswell? Haha

I think up 2 weeks is reasonable? Some ladies have it quicker. I know when I’ve used it to stop a period if I didn’t take the tablets regularly throughout the day i would bleed then. When I’ve used it to induce a period it’s been anywhere from 3-14 days. Just depends on your levels I think.

On the cramps front I know mine are much worse when I’ve used it. But I do think once I start bleeding the cramps ease a little so fingers crossed.

Yeah usually I always spot a few days before I get AF and ive had nothing st all so im guessing shes a while off yet xx

I'm absolutely dreading it! I always have heavy painful periods, but the last few years ive been 'fairly' regular. This is the longest ive been without one for years.

That, coupled with this severe cramping isn't giving me much hope of a smooth ride! If the clomid miraculously works though, it'll all be wirth it!

Ahh. Trying not to get my hopes up! Not trusting it yet. Will see how it looks tomorrow with anotger blue yay! (Its all the shop had tonight lol)
