I'm still feeling really sore - Jack was born 2 weeks ago. I didn't have any stitches or anything. It's when I stand. Almost feels bruised 'down there'. How long before it goes away do you think?

Probally very soon. I felt fine by 3 weeks after Nathan was born and I didn't have any stitches. I remember that feeling of standing up and feeling like my insides were gonna fall out but it doesn't last that long, honestly.

hiya

I didn't have any stitches with either and from what i can remeber you should start feeling better any day, i remeber feeling bruised but it only lasted about 2 weeks

as long as you do your pelvic floor excersises. it shouldn't take long to get bak to normal. but then everyone is different.

I think I was sore for about four weeks or maybe a bit longer but although I didn't have stitches I had a graze. I hope you feel better soon

I was sore for about 8 or 9 weeks after having Austin, I didn't have any stitches just a labial tear that the midwife said had healed within 10 days. It takes time to recover, just try not to rush anything. You have a great excuse to put your feet up for a couple of weeks!

i was sore for about 4-5weeks i think. but i had internal and external stiches.

im sure it wont be long :)

i know how horrible it is

i've started feeling so much better already - me and jack even had our first trip into town shopping without his daddy
