How long after previous caesarian is it ok to TTC?

I have different things about this from family/friends...ranging from 'fell pregnant 2 months after' to 'need to wait upto 2 years'!

Can anyone clarify what is a safe time to wait?

i'm not sure but i've heard all differently like you. I was told a gap of between 9 and 12 months to get body back to okay again... and to ensure scare has healed inside and out.

Can scares become weak when stretched and burst?

I was told to wait at least 12 months if possible. 6 months minimum.

I was told 12 months but my midwife said that is the ideal for any kind of delivery to allow your body time to recover from birth.

Yes I heard 12 - 18 months ideally.
