I know my OH is worried about him being the reason we haven't got pregnant yet but it's not something we talk about a great deal.

I think he's mentioned ttc to the doctor but I've not asked him.

Well as you know my hubby is the cause of out fertility issue (i'm waiting on results) and he seems ok to be perfectly honest.

I'm very accepting of people having flaws, to the point of mentioning them in jokes often. I enjoy people having flaws because it makes them more interesting and i hate people being sensitive to them.

My husband is bald, which is his main physical failing, so i call him baldylocks and things just to get it out there so we can get something positive out of it - a giggle.

I treat his fertility issue the same. I'll joke that i wouldn't expect his sperm cells to be anything but lazy and we'll have a cuddle and a giggle and he seems to respond well to that, otherwise he might dwell on it like it was a bit of an elephant in the room.

I'm sure he has days where he feels like he is a bit of a failure, but i think as long as i'm not blaming him like he personally was a source off my upset then i think he's quite content :)

I think it's good to be able to have a laugh about these things. :)

I tease OH that his are swimming the wrong way. We did get him to jack off onto a slide a few months back and he got kind of emotional looking at them swimming around on there.

Well as you know my OH is the problem for our fertility with him having a very low sperm count. We just take it in our stride, it's like he said there's nothing you can do about it....

We also just joke about it, it hit him bad at first, but he's the sort of person to keep his feelings to himself

Mine worries more than i do. He was sooo releaved when his semenology came back good. He'd been secretly thinking they were blanks. He wants a kid so much right now, i think its a panic that he's rapidly approaching 40, I did a similar thing just before 30. It's good to know we both want the same.
